Jesus Martinez is a sound engineer and musician with +9 years in the field. Founder of TorreMar Music Studio, full-time engineer, and based in Valencia.
He studied at the very heart of the Music Conservatory of the University of Chile surrounded by musicians of all kinds, from classical to rockers, from pop performers to experimental. That allowed Jesus to develop great musical and artistic skills to take him beyond technical and technological approaches.
During his studies, He had the opportunity to explore many workplaces including theatrical plays and live concerts, becoming an engineer who had traveled throughout Chile to work in many different scenarios.
Jesus moved to Los Angeles, California to do his internship with the Grammy award winner Mauricio Guerrero and start working at top-notch studios at the industry level, including Igloo Music Studio of Gustavo Borner, another award winner engineer.
Back in Chile, He founded “Piso 33”, a live recording and filming company that published a series of YouTube videos of live performances on various landscapes of Santiago de Chile with many local bands, such as “Los Elefantes Nunca Olvidan” and “Tripa”.
After his settlement in Madrid, Spain, built his independent career and worked with many talents, including the musician and producer Paco Ortega.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he decided to step up his career and got a Master's Degree in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation at Berklee College of Music, began to mix in Dolby Atmos, and made his system to work remotely.
